ACCESS

For access to the LM77 master’s degree, students must demonstrate that they have the curricular requirements (three-year degree or other equivalent qualification also obtained abroad, recognized as eligible under the laws in force) and the skills necessary for access that are defined by the regulations of the course of study. In particular, for direct access to the Degree Programme, the following two curricular requirements are required:
A) have obtained a degree in one of the following classes or another qualification obtained abroad, recognized as eligible:
L-14 Legal Services Sciences
L-15 Sciences of tourism
L-16 Sciences of Administration and Organization
L-18 Economics and Business Management
L-33 Economic Sciences
L-36 Political science and international relations
L-41 Statistics
or equivalent degree of the previous legal systems.
B) have acquired a total of 48 CFUs in business, economic, legal and mathematical-statistical areas, of which at least 20 CFUs in corporate SSDs
Business SSD: SECS-P/07 Business Administration, SECS-P/08 Business Economics and Management, SECS-P/09 Business Finance, SECS-P/10 Business Organization, SECS-P/11 Financial Intermediary Economics;
Economic SSD: SECS-P/01 Political economy, SECS-P/02 Economic policy, SECS-P/03 Finance science, SECS-P/05 Econometrics, SECS-P/12 Economic history;
SDS of Law: IUS/01 Private law, IUS/04 Commercial law, IUS/05 Economic law, IUS/07 Labour law, IUS/09 Public law institutions, IUS/10 Administrative law, IUS/12 Tax law, IUS/14 European Union law;
Mathematical-statistical SSD: SECS-S/01 Statistics, SECS-S/03 Economic Statistics, SECS-S/04 Demography, SECS-S/06 Mathematical Methods of Economics and Actuarial and Financial Sciences.
It is also required to have adequate language skills and therefore at least 6 ECTS in English, or level B1.

An appropriate Commission will evaluate the qualifications and decide whether the necessary skills are held for registration. If the skills are to be recovered, the University will organize compensatory recovery activities that must be acquired before enrolling in the course of study.

The verification of the same will take place through a test/ interview in written or oral form before registration. In case of success the student can enroll in the course of study

PRESENTATION OF THE COURSE

Based on a distinctly international approach to analysis, the Laurea Magistrale (2 Academic Years) Programmer in “Management and Business Consultant” is designed to give students a specialized preparation on business dynamics of an operational and managerial nature, in the light of an integrated logic and a systemic and strategic analysis of the company.
The course focuses on subjects of the disciplinary area:
– Economic-business, so as to develop skills and tools for the economic and financial analysis of business phenomena, also with reference to the public sphere and the analysis of the new trajectories of development of global markets;
– Computer-mathematical, useful for the processing of information and data needed in decision-making processes;
– Legal, so as to ensure knowledge of the regulation of business activities, with particular regard to the law of obligations and contracts, financial risk management, commercial law and labor law.
Consistent with the needs of modern complex economic processes, this Master’s Degree Programmer is therefore aimed at enabling students to acquire the necessary skills to:
– Acquire specialized and differentiated knowledge, instrumental in acquiring the necessary training to serve both as a business consultant and as a manager in public administration, public and private enterprises;
– Face the challenge with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the digitalization of professional life;
– Identify and manage, with other technical experts or independently, the new products and services of the market;
– Make a business organization or a professional studio efficient, reducing costs, but also exploring new business opportunities, innovative marketing strategies and network marketing channels;
– Identify and process functional data in the company’s decision-making processes;
– Adapt to the critical and problematic relationships between different systems;
– Managing financial risks and the business crisis.
The focus is, in particular, on the managerial aspects of business creation and the opportunities for business growth linked to innovation and new management dynamics.
The vocation of the course is, in fact, to train professionals able to occupy managerial positions, even in global markets, and to correctly interpret market phenomena and marketing processes, as well as to weave and better manage customer relations also following the logic of internationalization of companies.
The skills gained in this specialized course of study will give rise to interesting opportunities for integration of graduates in “Management and Business Consultant” in the professional world, with autonomy and spirit of resourcefulness so much to know how to work in complex systems in which the technological processes are intersected with those economic and organizational.

Chartered accountant, specialist in consulting and assistance to enterprises and productive structures, public and private

Function in a work context:
The Chartered Accountant is an expert in business administration and business law and, in any case, in economic, financial, tax, corporate and administrative matters:
– Carries out business consultancy activities for economic and financial assessments, corporate concentration and restructuring operations, corporate crisis prevention and management and extraordinary operations;
– Carries out tax planning and advice activities;
– It carries out the activities of auditor and of legal control of the accounts and the accounting documents, it verifies the reliability of the balance sheet, of the accounts, of the accounting records;
– Carries out the activities of insolvency administrator, judicial commissioner and liquidator in insolvency proceedings;
– Carries out bookkeeping activities and drawing up the balance sheets of public and private companies.

Skills associated with the function:
For the performance of the functions described above are required:
– Specific knowledge, skills and specialist skills in business and legal matters;
– Self-learning and continuous updating skills;
– Adequate transversal communication-relational, organizational-managerial and programming skills, in accordance with the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned, with the organizational and working methods adopted and with the main stakeholders (colleagues, other professionals and public and/or private customers)
– Specific computer skills.

Employment opportunities:
Following the needs expressed by the labor market during the consultation of the social partners, the Course offers the possibility, through access to the profession of Chartered accountant, to carry out consultancy and assistance to companies and productive structures, public and private.
The graduate in “Management and business advice will in fact have access to the State Examination for the profession of Chartered Accountant, even coming from regulated professions that are accessed with the Bachelor’s degree (such as accounting experts or employment consultants), or from unregulated professions (e.g. tax collectors, etc.).
In fact, the students will have all the necessary skills to undertake free professional careers in business economics consulting, including that of chartered accountant and auditor, profession accessible only after registration in the appropriate register: being this course consistent with the provisions contained in the Convention of 2010 between MIUR and the National Order of Chartered Accountants may be subject to specific agreement with the territorial orders and allow the performance of part of the internship during the course of study.
In addition to the traditional fields of activity (accounting, tax, financial, managerial and corporate) the graduate in Management and Business Consulting” may choose to enter, through specific training courses and internships with highly qualified Italian and foreign studies and bodies, also in areas of activity characterized by recent organic reforms that offer, therefore, to those who approach this historical period, the possibility of acquiring a highly specialized professional perspective (e.g. trustee of the courts as technical expert, curator, liquidator, judicial administrator in criminal seizures,
manager or consultant of public-owned companies or financial intermediaries, etc.).

Administrative Manager

Function in a work context:
The administrative manager is the contact person for the economic and financial management of the company. In particular:
– Manages the administrative function, ensuring the collection of company data, reporting to management, the preparation of financial statements and consolidated;
– Is also responsible for the fiscal planning and the related instrumental fulfillments, as well as the finance function.

Skills associated with the function:
For the performance of the functions described above are required:

– Specific IT skills;
– Specific knowledge and skills in business and legal matters;
– Capacity for self-learning and continuous updating;
– Adequate communication-relational, managerial and programming skills, also with regard to the organization of the work of its collaborators;

Employment opportunities:
The course aims to train professionals equipped to carry out business activities or managers of private or public enterprises, or to access competitions for officials and managers of public administrations.

In order to be able to properly interface with the online activities of the Telematic University of San Raffaele Roma, students must be able to use:

  • An ADSL Internet connection or other technology allowing a similar or higher connection speed;
  • A multimedia PC, possibly equipped with web cam;
  • A newly released browser.

The Master’s Degree in Management and Business Consulting is an educational path managed remotely through the support of the Internet that allows you to customize the time and mode of study without the constraints of presence in the classroom. For the delivery of teaching we use an e-learning platform among the most popular at international level (Moodle) that allows you to choose a course of studies tailored to the workload that you are able to support and communicate directly in the virtual classroom or via forums, chat, email, etc. with tutors, teachers and other students of the course.

The Laurea magistrale (2 Academic Years) in Management and Business Consulting of the Telematic University San Raffaele Roma is equivalent to the traditional ones offered by other Italian universities.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the master’s degree program in “Management and business consulting” you must have a bachelor’s degree or university degree of three years, or another degree obtained abroad equivalent, the possession of curricular requirements and the passing of a verification of the adequacy of personal preparation.

Admission to the master’s degree program is subject to passing a verification of the adequacy of the personal preparation, the modalities will be detailed in the Regulations of the course of study.

The degree exam is accessed after successfully taking all the exams of the courses in the Study Plan. Each exam, in order to be passed, may include an oral and/or written test, to be carried out strictly in presence at one of the University’s premises. In addition, each teacher can provide evaluation moments in progress. They may include, for example, the production of a paper, participation in a collaborative activity, the administration of a multiple choice question test, etc.

The dates of theexam sessions are communicated 30 days before the relative opening. There is the possibility of implementing extraordinary sessions after deliberation of the Course of Study, on the basis of the evaluation of students’ needs. As for the achievement of the Diploma, there is a test that consists in the discussion of a report in a public session in front of a commission of teachers that expresses an assessment in 110/110

Each student is equipped with a username and password for access to the educational platform and all the teaching materials contained in it.
Within the platform the student finds, for each subject, a space dedicated to his virtual class, in which in addition to a bulletin board where space is given to the teacher’s communications, there are lessons and teaching materials related to the individual lessons of the course in addition to supplementary teaching resources (exercises, additional materials, etc.). In addition, there is a forum dedicated to discussion and requests for clarification, as well as some live sessions, where provided by the teacher within the course.

The University has as its teaching platform a customization of Moodle which is the most widespread Learning Management System (LMS) in the world. Known above all for its ergonomics, Moodle has been created following the pedagogical theory of social constructivism but is very versatile for the large amount of modules available, highly customizable thanks to the availability of the source code. Starting from this platform, the University has developed a complete solutionthrough the creation of additional modules, customizations and integrations with other software components, in order to fully meet the requests of teachers and teaching coordinators and to provide related technical assistance services (based on troubleticketing systems).
